Agreement
These Terms of Service govern your use of the LightRoll macOS application and the lightrollapp.com website operated by SARL TEKAPP in France.
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using LightRoll, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app or website.
Availability and Distribution
LightRoll may be offered as a free, paid, trial, or beta product through Apple’s distribution channels or other channels we publish.
If you get LightRoll through Apple, Apple’s terms and platform rules may also apply. If these Terms conflict with mandatory Apple terms or applicable consumer protection rules, those mandatory rules control to the extent required by law.
If you download LightRoll through the Apple App Store, Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies unless a separate custom license is provided through App Store Connect. These Terms apply to the LightRoll website and supplement your use of the app where they do not conflict with Apple’s applicable terms.
If LightRoll is later sold directly outside Apple’s distribution channels, we will publish additional sale terms before that purchase flow is made available.
We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, beta access, distribution channels, or the website at any time.
License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use LightRoll on Mac computers you own or control, subject to these Terms and applicable law.
You may not copy, redistribute, resell, sublicense, reverse engineer, modify, or create derivative works from LightRoll except where expressly permitted by law or by separate written agreement.
Your Library and Responsibilities
You are responsible for your Photos library, your backups, and the decisions you make in LightRoll.
LightRoll helps you review media and confirm actions, but you remain responsible for checking items before marking or deleting them. Deletion is performed through Apple PhotoKit after confirmation and does not map to Cmd+Z undo in LightRoll.
You should maintain backups of important photos and videos before using cleanup or deletion workflows.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how LightRoll handles data, analytics, diagnostics, the website, and optional email updates. By using LightRoll, you acknowledge that we process data as described in the Privacy Policy.
Feedback
If you send us feedback, suggestions, or ideas, you allow us to use them to improve LightRoll without obligation to compensate you, unless we separately agree otherwise in writing.
Disclaimer
LightRoll is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, or uninterrupted operation.
We do not guarantee that LightRoll will find every item, prevent every mistake, operate without interruption, or free a specific amount of storage.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SARL TEKAPP and LightRoll are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, media, profits, revenue, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from your use of LightRoll or the website.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim relating to LightRoll or the website is limited to the amount you paid for LightRoll in the twelve months before the claim, or zero if you obtained LightRoll at no charge.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of France, except where mandatory consumer protection rules provide otherwise.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date on this page. Continued use of LightRoll after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
